  Morrisons in Houghton Regis is not my regular supermarket but I was in the area for something else and thought I'd give them a try. However, I am disappointed by quality of some of the fruit and veg I purchased. When I got home and unpacked everything, I found two of 4 peppers were mushy making the whole bag slimy and smelly. The bag celery, despite having 5 more days before it's out of date, looked older and worse quality than the pack I have from ASDA which went past its Best Before two days ago. One of the 4 pack of apples was bruised around the top and half had to be thrown away. I've learnt my lesson: don't buy fruit and salad veg from Morrisons. In general, the cheaper supermarkets don't provide consistently good quality fruit.
